1.000 of years of culture all in one place. The ancient Cherokee settlement of Tanasi gives it's name to both the river and the state of Tennassee and to our Tanasi Necklace. The teardrop shape reminds us of a homeland that was lost and the pearls recall centuries of freshwater pearl cultivation by our Cherokee ancestors along the river.
