Our 1.5” Sequoyah Pendant features the syllabary that Sequoyah created. The syllabary allowed Cherokee to transition from a strictly oral language to a written one. The Cherokee people were an educated people and could read and write in English, but with Sequoyah's gift, they were able to read in write in Cherokee.
