Pearls

Cherokee People have a long history of cultivating pearls for personal adornment. For centuries they harvested musells from the rivers and streams and extracted the pearls and even used the shells to make jewelry.
Native Americans have long prized and used pearls for ornamentation, trading for them as far away as Key West to Chahokia Mounds in Illinois and Spiro Mounds in Oklahoma.
We continue this tradition.
